Playful cats - encore!
Lizet's two playful cats, inspired by Barados, were a success that overwhelmed us, especially since the production had a few hiccups that resulted in us not getting as many of them made as we originally planned. The snep and the cougar sold out in record time.
Starting on 1 October 2023 we will open a new round of pre-orders for these in addition to a larger pair of cats - Sundara, the tigress, and Laini, the lioness, also drawn by Lizet.
You'll find ALL pre-order information on the respective product page for each cat. We will endeavour to maintain this updated. We will also post updates on the project on Twitter, Telegram and Bluesky.

The great cats are bigger than the snep and the cougar. It's why they are called great cats. The lioness and tigress are 165 cm long; the snep and cougar are about 150 cm long. This make a considerable difference. Please look at the product page(s) for reference photos!
Pre-orders mean that you will not get any personal update on your order status (after the initial order confirmation) until the cats are actually ready to be shipped to your address. You can follow the pre-order progress on the product page(s), on Telegram, Twitter, and on Bluesky.
Please be aware of the following when you pre-order the Lizet cats:
Do not order these items with any other stock or custom-made products, except for with the other Lizet cats pre-orders!
The price until 3 October 2023 already includes a EUR 10 'early bird' discount for every pre-order item over the 'normal' pre-order price. Other discounts cannot be applied to this pre-order!
FAQs (please read):
- Why is this toy so expensive? The great cats are custom-grade quality toys made by Jetsonic. They are more durable and better sculpted than regular pinch-seam toys. The small number overall also impacts on the price.
- Will this be a limited run? Of course. Every run is limited by the amount of money that's available and the level of interest. We usually make more units than have been pre-ordered, but when they're gone, they're gone.
- Will I be able to pay in installments? Only if you check out with a suitable credit card via ShopPay.
- Will this toy be available with SPH mod? No.
- How big are the great cats? They are 165 cm (5'6") long and about 135 cm (4'6") tall to the tip of the tail.
- How big are the snep and the cougar? They are 150cm (5') long and about 130 cm (4'4") tall to the tip of the tail.
- Do you ship to my place? We ship to anywhere where there is a postal system. Email us if you experience problems at checkout.
- Will there be extra shipping costs or charges later on? The price you pay at checkout includes shipping and all taxes/duties if you live in the EU or the US. Many countries do not levy duties on small orders below $ 500 - including Australia. In some cases, customs authorities may have lower thresholds. Please email us if you have any questions.
- Can you ensure that I get a flawless product? No. These inflatables are hand-made in small batches. Even though they should be inspected before being packaged, there will be some variation in the quality of the welding and printing and in some cases there may be outright defects. Please be reasonable in your expectations.
- Can I get exchanges or refunds for defective items? Yes, within reason: please see our refund policy.
- Can I cancel my pre-order? Yes, however, we reserve a right to charge a fee for this. Please read our refund policy: Refund policy – Horseplay Toys (horseplay-toys.com)
- How long will this take for delivery? At this time we cannot anticipate the time frame between the start of pre-orders and delivery, but in the current economic environment severe delays may occur without notice. We will try to keep you updated as best as we can. Please follow us on Twitter and Telegram for the most up-to-date information. At the time of posting this blog, we expect a production in December 2023 and a delivery towards the end of the first quarter of 2024. This is an estimate (see above).
